These Hubs are meticulously hand made with NO computerized CNC (computer numerical control) machining. Just pushing a button and walking away to have a computerized machine do all the work is NOT how my Shop operates. These Hubs are milled and crafted the old-fashioned way, By Me, By Hand!!!
Each Hub is a handcrafted Red Oak base accented with beautiful exotic hardwoods…. Cedar train platforms and Purple Heart tile station, which make this a real showpiece and will make you the envy of all your friends. Actual N-Gauge train track provides amazing detail to this handcrafted Hub, as well as a perfect spot to place your train markers. The addition of warehouse embellishments* to the Tile Station section further enhance the playful theme. The Hub is also designed to nest neatly inside the case lid of most Mexican Train Dominoes cases, making it easy to bring along on your next game night. Handcrafted Hubs are made to order with solid natural hardwoods. The Red Oak, Cedar and Purple Heart species each brings a natural beauty offering beautiful wood grains and wood characteristics that make each piece beautifully unique. Wood characteristics, like inclusions, mineral streaking or staining, knots and minimal checking are inherent in these species and unique in each handmade Hub. All Hubs receive a finish to bring out the natural beauty of the hardwoods.
Hubs feature a 1/2” thick base with a 1/4” thick tile station holding area. Hubs measure approximately 6 5/8” across to allow for convenient storage inside the lids of most dominos carrying cases.
HUB PERSONALIZATION:
The engraving may be 1 OR 2 lines of text, or a clip art graphic. If a clip art graphic is desired, you must message me the art file so I may apply it.
All engraving elements must fit within a spacing of 1 3/4” w x 1 1/4” h and text font choice is not optional, for engraving clarity reasons. Each line of text may be up to 10 characters in length. Exceptions must be agreed to by the Shop Owner and Customer.
If a clip art graphic is to be used in conjunction with text (as seen in the pictures), then the clip art must be an outline graphic only. If the engraving is a clip art graphic only with no text, then the clip art may be a “filled in” graphic.
The engraving will be centered as best as possible within the framing of the Purple Heart tile pieces.
